​We have been enhancing communities for more than 30 years.

NPCDC is A 501 (c) 3 Organization with over 20 years of experience serving residents of the District of Columbia through housing and economic development projects. 
+ More than 500 units of affordable and low-income housing produced in the District touching the lives of over 1,000 individuals and families.
+ Projects include a mixed-income, mixed-use condominium building in Columbia Heights and Low Income Housing Tax Credit Projects in Congress Heights.

 

NPCDC’s mission is to be a world-class  investor, owner, developer and manager of real estate properties in our nation’s capital.

NPCDC is an engaged and responsible member of the communities in which we work and live. Our  mission is that of initiating, sponsoring, and operating housing and economic development projects that create economic stability and upward mobility for low-income families.

The Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) units created by NPCDC have been developed in some of the most difficult to develop areas of Washington, DC.

In addition to building and promoting healthy, active, sustainable and affordable housing communities in Southeast, NPCDC has developed the Heights of Columbia, a mixed-income, mixed-use building that has helped spur community redevelopment in a segment of 14th Street, N.W. that lies on the outskirts of the newly renovated business district of Columbia Heights and is surrounded by more than 1,000 units of Section 8 housing
